Feng Shui Consultations ~ Your Involvement
As preparation for a consultation, you would need to prepare scale plans
of your home (A4 hand-drawn is fine). It is likely that the more accurate
your plans, the more effective the consultation will be. However, the main
thing is to ensure the relative proportions are correct, and that all floors
are drawn to the same scale. Alternatively Lynne can draw the floor plans
for you for an additional fee (typically between £45 and £110 depending
on the size and complexity of your home).
You will also need to provide certain details concerning your home and everyone
living at your home, including:
- the year your house was built
- details of any structural changes made to the house since it was built
- details of any structural changes planned for the house
- dates of birth for everyone living at your home
Lynne will need your attention for the first half-hour (for
the initial chat/tour of your home) and for 1-2 hours towards the end of the consultation (when she talks
you through her findings/recommendations), but in between she
will be taking compass bearings, preparing charts, and generally completing
the Feng Shui assessment of your home - giving you time to do other things
if you wish.
The consultation is conducted in a friendly manner, and all you really need
on the day is an open mind and willingness to contemplate change. Other than
that, cups of tea are most welcome!
